FRCC Workshop Registration

Course: Fundamentals of Raw Clothing Construction Workshop 

 Course Objective: Our Go-Green DIY workshop series offers hands on learning experiences where registrants are taught basic raw construction techniques for fashioning eco-friendly crafts without the use of a sewing machine. Instead, students will recycle, reconstruct and repurpose materials to complete  projects  using some basic skills and their own creativity. They will also learn the basic concept behind wholistic dress, its benefits, and how to apply it in their personal life.

Facilitator Bio: Netfah Amina~Afia is a local fashion designer, wraptologist, and wholisitic lifestyle coach, with a BA in Family & Consumer Science / Specialization in Fashion Merchandising, Netfah Amina Afia brings over 30 years’ experience in the fashion/textile industry to her workshop. Offering valuable insight and information from both a grassroots and professional perspective, Netfah’s Fundamentals in Raw Clothing Construction class is designed to impart tools and basic life skills that will equip individuals for a lifetime.
